With exactly 2 weeks until the start of the Tokyo Auto Salon the concepts are coming thick and fast, so now it the turn of the Honda Civic Type R Mondulo Concept to enter the foray.
The street legal, track ready version features a number of external enhancements including 19 inch alloy wheels, clear tail-lights and a wing spoiler finished off with a championship white racing livery.
The interior oozes that sports appeal with lightweight Recaro bucket seats and it seems Honda went all out to create the ultimate lightweight interior, the sports steering wheel, handbrake and centre dash and door panels are all made with carbon fibre.
As yet there is no word on whether this will make it to production – but lets keep our fingers crossed.

We'll probably see an Acura CSX version of this in Canada if the reception is strong enough....
its realy exciting...but i still think that the Hatchback still more beutiuful.
The hatchback makes me throwq up every time I have the displeasure of seeing it.
Suprisingly i like the hatchback. But then i like a lot of hatchbacks. The best Civic's are overseas not in america, at least in my opinion
Good god i hope this doesnt make it to production, all we need is more ricers on the streets thinking they are Micheal Schumacher in a 200hp civic.
