Pure EVs will appear in the market from 2009 on. The development plans and test operations collaborationg with electricity companies are openly disclosed by Mitsubishi with iMiev and Subaru with eR1 in Japan. They plan to start selling them with at least 160Km/charge of cruise at Yen 1.5mil.-2.0mil ($13000-18000).
This Pinin's model looks prettiest among them and would be a smash hit if it goes around $15000.
