so bad...subaru just took the front grill and headlights from a new WRX 2008 ( already ugly ) ..and make it bigger , then we have a brand new Forester..haha what a joke !

Front-quarter and rear-quarter views are nice, as are full-on front and full-on rear views. Unfortunately, the extensive front overhang seriously detracts from the overall exterior design - and probably hampers front approach angle, as well.

I don't mind the look as much as the size... Subaru had fallen behind the competition in recent years.... Subarus have always been small even by small SUV standards... All the major small SUVs not only grown in length but in width... Although the 2009 is 3 inches longer it did not ge wider... I think subaru blew an opportunity... and will not keep pace with toyota, honda , ford all of which are at least 2 inches wider. Americans want small SUV that are bordering on midsize.... and no one is buying the Tribeca... not with 16 mpg city.... the forester could have filled a nice small to midsize slot....
