F149 to make Paris debut?

Dutch spy-site Autogespot read on Ferrarichat that a Ferrari dealer has let slip that a Ferrari 599 Spyder in the works. The 599 Spider, which might just be called the Ferrari GT California, is due for 2009. Autogespot has taken their PhotoShop classes seriously and created the attached images.

Additionally they mention that Ferrari is planning to debut the F149 at Paris in 2008, the F149 is supposed to succeed the F430. The F70 is rumoured to follow the Enzo in its tracks and should be ready by 2009/2010. But these speculations are pretty wild, so we will have to wait for confirmation.

Making the 599 into a spyder is a big mistake, because the 599 is a driver's car and a convertable platform would screw that up.

hmm interesting, but what about the Super America? The F430 is too new to replace, and as for the Enzo i can't see a replacement coming for a while, just look at the time between the F50 and the Enzo. Maybe some new facelift but not a replacement. It is still an icon, its time has not come yet. I would expect a Challenge Stradale Enzo before a new car, this would follow in the steps of the Murcielago Superleggera.

It is not unreasonable to see a replacement for F430 since its basic structure is still the same as that of F360 which debuted in Detroit in 1999, though with a completely new engine and numerous improvements over F360.

Unless, you should go for a Aston Martin DBS "Volante" would be much better than the prancing horse's version.
