I like the blue one. The gray one took me way to long to figure out I was looking at the back end. And the red one isn't that adventurous in design

other than the H1, hummers are GMC's in disguise, which means crap.

You're so stupid. GM owns the whole bunch Hummers, Cadillacs, Chervrolets, GMC's etc.. You have no idea what you're talking about so just keep it to yourself.

i really like the red example as it echoes well the H1s ruggedly-handsome looks. thoughtful attention was also given to optimum aerodynamic enhancements as well as strong underbody protection measures . i also welcome the idea of demountable body/roof panels relative to the driving environment . here's wishing that GM could engineer a diesel engine similar in performance to VW Touareg's 308bhp TDI V10 to really get this rig going.interior fittings could also be of dual nature . one that features bespoke RangeRoverish appointments , another the rugged , mil-spec type looking quite like the interior of a Sikorsky Blackhawk , Huey Cobra/Hughes Apache helicopters with LOTS of ANALOG intrument gauges/switches plus the provision for an overhead console panel. i would avoid such loud paint colour schemes and instead apply techy and subdued tones such as titanium grey , SR-71 indigo blue , anthracite. . . the Hummer needs CHUNKY TIRES like Mickey Thompsons mounted on wide-flanged alloy wheels with bolted accents.ditto for wheel geared hubs for superior all-terrain traction. it would be wise to adopt the H1s dynamically - stable bodily proportions as well as to make improvements to its combat-tested underpinnings. these are all US Department of Defense-certified military-specifications and have been put into rigorous wartime action over at Grenada , Panama , Somalia , Kuwait , Afghanistan , and in Iraq. summing things up , simply go the the AM GENERAL's HUMVEE website and adopt the H1s optimum specs and you are in business. thank you very much !

If Hummers keep measuring two meters wide and tall, weighing three tons and featuring vertical windshields and huge engines, they won't pass any green obstacle.

the reason why the H1 measured close to two meters at girth is to basically endow it with a wide cross-sectional mass in order for it to safely traverse longitudinal terrain by as much as 40 percent without rolling over . the extra width allocation for the H1s multi-role central bay was designed to accomodate a battlefield casualty stretcher slot , on-board omni-frequency communications equipment and to provide additional ordnance storage . underneath this bay housed the drivetrain componentry as well as the fuel tanks which were all shielded from debris and impact during travel over rugged terrain. you are quite right though , about the H1s energy-inefficient engine and its drag - inducing vertical windshield that needs to be thoroughly addressed when the Humvee is re-designed.

it looks like the current Hummer, can GM design something interesting?

I have seen the new h4x at a hummer dealer meeting in ca. this year.Wow what a cool concept. It will knock the socks off the other vehicles in its class.I saw the actual vehicle that will be built. This vehicle will dominate the market with it cool design. It is truly a work of art.

I agree just another HUMMER they all look the same GM really need to be a little more adventurous and try something new i think if they really tryed the could make an awsome turbo Diesel that would blow its competetors away aswel as meeting the defence forces much needed specs
