Dodge have released the first teaser photos of the production model Challenger SRT8 closely following the announcing of pricing information just last week. The five 'sneak peek' shots arrive ahead of the 37,995 dollar car's debut at the Chicago Auto Show in February.

Announced this summer that the concept version would enter production, deliveries of the SRT8 model are to start in limited run in the Spring as a 2008 model, each featuring a numbered plaque and available in black, silver or HEMI orange. 2008 SRT8 models will have a racing-style interior, sports suspension, upgraded brakes and boosted power, with this and further Challenger models being fitted with Dodge's 6.1-litre V8 HEMI unit. Later versions of the car will enter the market for the 2009 model year.

Looks awesome...still scared about something, the interior. Will we expect more cheapness?

I believe in America Dodge makes the most manly cars on the road. This Challenger SRT8 I think will do well. there will be heavy customization for the vehicle. I think they should look at what Ford and Chevy is doing and try to get some of these SRT's onto the big screen. Its great for promotion.
