Nice job! I was considering buying one. But now I've to wait for the face lifted edition. I owned a previous generation model briefly, but it was a car that was unworthy of the MB star. But the current one is better, many say.

The wheel holder & the tire on the back are hideous and also the front grill design is less attractive. I am confused by what MB is doing with the ML class...as its design is different than their other SUVs...I thought perhaps they were making it the Sport utility to compete more with Porsche or BMW...but I do not see an improvement in Design...

that rear tire mount will never happen at least not in the USA. It is entirely unsafe as it blocks vision out of the rear window. And anyone with common sense has got to wonder if you park your MB on the street or a garage how long that tire wil stay on the car before its stolen or slashed and insurace nightmare, these are my thoughts@ and yours?

The BMW X5 is much better car. A pure breed of off-roading. According to the German automobile magazine, Auto Motor and Sport, that the BMW X5 lost to the M-Class. Then, British automobile magazine, Autocar, claimed that the X5 was better off than M-Class. I still believe a X5 could do better as the previous generation did.

the x5's suspension is more designed for on-road rather than offroad so it's not "A pure breed of off-roading". Even the land cruiser and the new lx570 has better off-road capabilities than the crossover vehicles than these Ml's and x5's.

drop that wheel holder, it looks like sh*t, the M - Class is already a handsome car

What the hell is the difference? The wheel arches are still ugly! think of 'humpty dumpty' on wheels! Used to have a 2000 ML (white) and if I had a bell and added 'Good Humor' or the side, I could probably make decent money selling ice cream to the local kids in the neighborhood! BENZ = "BLOATED"

The current ML is an awesome vehicle. It is much more comfortable on Midwestern (USA) roads than the X5 but had a more direct and sporty feel than the Lexus RX. It has a very tight and controlled ride along with plenty of power and lots of cargo space. Most ML's I sell are to people who have just come over from the BMW store disappointed with the driving dynamics and confusing interior layout of the X5. Either that or they were bored to tears by the RX... it's a nice compromise between the two. As a brand, Mercedes-Benz sales were up almost 15% this year BEFORE the new C-class came out, and now we are unable to keep adequate inventory of most of our models in stock. Nothing wrong with BMW, but Benz is really at the top of their game right now.

this must be the MB 2007 "Frankensteinian Frankfurt Freak's" younger sibling. deformity runs deep in the family.
