Radmeister, htere is a reason Saab has only released thier SUV in certain countries, it butt ugly. This Forester is much better liking, really like the red one with the sump pans front and back. But I bet Subaru Australia only bring in the basic models (two trim levels)and the maybe the turbo later if it sells well enough!!!!

Absolutely no innovation in design. When are they going to start to make cars that actually look interesting.

I have to admit the front of the saab suv looks kind of cool, and then it goes all wrong because the rest of the car is an Envoy or trailblaze i forget which 1 it is, but its the same car and engine.

It looks a lot like the first Forester, but of course it is a lot bigger. Maybe a mix between the first Forester and the Mitsubishi Pajero?

It looks taller than the current Forester. It's more like a SUV and less like a tall wagon, which is what the current model is

Subaru's are known to be guzzlers.....hope the new Forrester's actually the one to take care of the endangered lungs of this tortured planet. Is it?

its because Subaru are part of the Toyota empire now - lost cause - no innovation and bland styling

Those of us old enough to remember the heddy days during the late eighties, Namely 288GTO v 959 v NSX. Nineties, namely: Lexus RX v BMW X5 v LR Discovery & early Noughties
Toyo Prius v Honda v Smart, can only salivate at the present and maybe next 10-15 years!
Will we all look back in say 2025, & remember the present time & next 15 years as Automotive Nirvana?
