Hyundai makes good cars. I own two of them. But in styling, why can't they be original? This mix-mash styling detracts the public from their cars' positive attributes...

i thought that i'm the only one which found the grille horrendous..so it does look bad...and hyundai does not make good cars...my dad used to own one and its system keeps breaking down and the engine finally went too..

Is it just me, or does this car look like a horrible mish mash of a Merc S-Class, BMW 7 Series, BMW 3 Series Sedan, Merc E-Class with a sprig of Lexus LS thrown into the mix? I personally think Merc and BMW should sue

Yes, the grille does look a bit ugly. But I doubt that will come out of Korea. What we will see outside of Korea will be a Hyundai badge. Apart from the grille though, I think this car is a handsome looking thing. I like those wheels on it, it gives the car some presence. Although many people have criticize this car for being a mix and match of many European products, but Lexus was and still is a mix and match of European products as well. I think this car will be good, and I will take a test drive in it when it comes out. If it is going to be around $30k, this is a well worth buying car. And for the people who think Hyundai makes bad car, I think it is time for you guys to get out of that thinking, and start looking into their new development. Time has moved on...

I agree but this car, i believe, is not going to be any were near the 30,000 Dollar mark when they hit the states. The Azera limited starts at 30,000..So this car will be somewhere in the upper 30's. Not worth it for that price. These cars are mushy and not fun to drive (Parents used to own two, Elantra and Sonata). If i am gonna pay that much for a car i want drivabilty and its not gonna by from Hyundai

I agree- stop being so hard on Hyundai- once you've got a reputation to build on you can afford to be adventurous but to begin with quality and reliabilty are the priorities and Hyundai is improving no end in those departments.

That's a handsome sedan from Hyundai, the best looking from their product line so far. They certainly know how to make good copies from various designs here and there but, hey, with their sales going like rockets and huge improvements in quality, I wouldn't mind paying 1/2 or even 1/3 of a Lexus LS460 for that! I have sat in numerous Hyundais from the smallest Accent to the biggest Azera, they don't make cheap cars anymore. And they give you alot of car for what you are paying indeed. What a surprise! The only problem with the Genesis, it can't park itself.?

In my country a basic BMW320 cost USD90K ... hope Hyundai can bring hope for those who wants affordable but BMW quality cars.....

a 320 for 90,000$ i should start exporting bmws to your country, id make like 30,000$ profit per car. An M3 is 90,000$ fully loaded here. Hyundai is decades from BMW quality.

hi bro, its all about government taxes that balloned to USD$90K. Even a Hyundai Tiburon costs USD$55K... and on top of that for a 2000cc car we have to pay road tax of USD$1K per year.... and other many charges to keep the car on the road... Is a country called Singapore in southeast asia...

I think the car looks good though i cant see any copying as some said i think its somewhat orignals because all cars have the same design put most cars side by side and they all must have somthing incomen it not only hyundai

I don't think anyone gets what Hyundai is doing. they are giving you a V8 engine, something along the size of a 5series or larger for a price inbetween 30 - 40k and a BMW 3series starts a 30k for a V6. Thats good. Who cares if it is mismatch of this and that as long as it looks decent. We're not getting any richer here in America and most of the time the price your paying is for the name not the car. there just trying to expand their product line Lexus wasn't that well excepted when they start out and those old Acura legends were just Honda Accords with more features. So don't talk about mix matching features when honda built the same exact car, the ACCORD in Europe and re-badged it the TSX in America.
