AC Schnitzer GP3.10 GAS POWERED on the Nardo

So you're heard that AC Schnitzer's aptly-named GP3.10 GAS POWERED is the fastest LPG-powered car in the world. Well now it's in glorious technicolor - this official video shot during the car's successful record-breaking attempt at Italy's Nardo high speed track.

Joining AC Schnitzer's M6-based TENSION design study among the ranks of high-flying record breakers, the new concept car claims the title of 'World's Fastest LPG Car' with a recorded top speed of 318.1 kph (197 mph). And this stylishly-produced video offers an equally fast-paced view of the study from start to finish.

The GP3.10 GAS POWERED uses a reworked version of the M5's 406 kW (552 hp) 10-cylinder engine, adapted for LPG fuel consumption. Accelerating to 100 kph (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds and onto 200 kph (124 mph) in as few as 13.6, this is an LPG car with a difference. Although only a design study valued at 198,000 euros, AC Schnitzer propose that some of the vehicle's components may see production.

nice, too bad they destroyed the body-language of the car. In the normal version it looks like Predator with a taut body...

Liquid Petrol Gas. The engine is powered with gas. It has a more efficient and complete burning, it's more envirementaly friendly, and it has almost the same performance as a petrol engine. Any petrol engine can be powered with gas (LPG). To bad it's so expensive, great performance comes with a cost.
