its nothing cutting edge atall, why do they say it is. Dodge: please state which technologies you have developed which are cutting edge in this car. It'l flop like the magnum (stopping production soon), and the charger is expected to stop production in around 2 years.

I spect to see it in Black :)unfortunadly it have too low power whit that engine I spected at least 520hp, anyway its very good looking

the 6.1 Hemi engine is nice but the styling is too retro for me...I would buy a new Camaro first...

Pfft camaro is for sissies and little kids. This car is pure oldschool. Dont underestimate this engine, Hennessy has a supercharger kit for 600whp, and if that is too much for you a simple intake, exhaust, and ecu tuning will net you over 500hp.

This car is just mind blowing!!! The best thing in this car is that its "too retro!!". It will give all the fans of old, 60s classics another chance to taste the brand new, old-classic cars.. Regarding the power, I think it will be more than satisfying. If it will be producing 425, then it will be able to keep up with the Shelby GT500 which "actually" produces around 440 hp.. A fact that comes in opposite to ford's official specs that says it gives 500 HP!!.. If the SRT8 is one of the first engines in production lines for this car, then I expect a bigger engine coming very soon to keep it up; the only concern is how will they engineer the car to handle the "twisty" roads!! the nightmare of almost ALL american cars..

Retro, weak in power, less sharp handling than Europeans etc. Whatever the model has shortcomings, this is the way that US automakers go for because nobody else can make such unique cars at the moment. This may be the last chance to enjoy this kind of "American Grafity". USD37995 is surely attractive and valuable for the things that the model contains.

I would much rather have this "American grafitti" than any European little toy of the same price range.
Before I find a thousand replies and lists of good European cars, I want to point that I do like them (especially Germans, which I love), but if my friend is senselessly picking on this car because it's American (& Proud) even when that's stupid, why can't I senselessly pick on European cars even when that's stupid?

I'm sorry, I didn't read the whole comment. I reported my reply because I really didn't read well your comment. I'm very sorry.

The gt500 produced 500 crank hp and 440whp which is pretty good ratio with only a 12% loss from crank to wheels, the avg is 15%.

Looks cool, I'm note sure that its fuel efficent enough to last long on the market.

37995 dollars right now is 18,476.59 GBP, which barely buys you a 2 litre 3-series...This car is a really good reason for the US Dollar to drop...

grandissima auto ! i m italian, and I like american, swedish, japanese cars. this Dodge looks really amazing and this is a CAR. italian 500 is too ugly, stupid and too little. sorry for my bad english...

Saint.. i agree with you if took it as power/wieght ratio.. it is one of the cheapest Bhps..

Oh im sure it handles real well, ive seen the charger srt 8 go around the track and its quite good. It brakes amazing because of the huge brembo brakes, i think they are even bigger than the ones found on the viper. This car should have a sportier suspension weigh less and have a lower center of gravity i would expect it handles and brakes great(as great as an american muscle car can not in comparison to a porsche or M3). Much better than the mustang or camaro.

It looks better than the Camaro or Mustang. But I wouldn't buy it because its a Dodge.I am not a Dodge fan though. For that money I would wait to see what Camaro does.Besides who can afford the low gas milage?
