This friday Audi will hold a press conference in Györ, Hungary which will see the unveiling of the new Audi A3 Cabriolet. No further details have been released yet but we are not expecting any major surprises from another addition to the Audi line up. The styling of the front end looks very much like the current generation A3, but the rear end styling appears to be based on the A5.
Production had been rumoured to commence in Brussels, Belgium, but judging by the location of the unveiling, it looks likely it will be built at their Hungary production facility.
We had expected the A3 Cabrio to debut in Geneva so this premature unveiling comes somewhat as a surprise.

a sure success. audi sales continue to climb
It's silversedanman again! Everyone give him a round of applause.
Interesting car, although i doubt the sales. The audi TT covers the convertible small car sector pretty good, and the young and trendy 5 seat convertible small car is covered by the Eos. I think they should be stop making 50 million models that overlap sectors and make an awesome car for each sector in 3 different trims, normal,S, and RS. Also the Lamborghini Murcielago is in desperate need of a makeover its lost its "wow" factor being the exact same for 5 years.
This is Audi version of VW Eos but with softtop instead of retractable hardtop(RHT). This is good from practiclity point of view, i.e. ample boot capacity, lower center of gravity and weight. As Audi is prestigeous brand than VW, why the model does not have RHT and Eos is better suited for softtop than A3, I think.
I know this is audi's version of the eos, but the eos already has the same engine, a very trendy and high quality interior, especially now with their individual edition with a wider selection of trim and colours. The eos is already pretty expensive why would this car sell over it considering audi is most always more expensive than vw.
