AMG55, Im sorry if I told you that your comment is the silliest I've ever came accross.. Bugatti came from nowhere?!?!?! Bugatti is one of the oldest car manufacturers in the world. They have been making cars for more than 50 years. Secondly, its not hard to CHARGE 1000 or even 2000 horsepower in a car!! a simple person car put this power in any car. The hard thing is HOW TO MAKE this power work on the ground.. and thats what Bugatti and Koenigsegg are ALL ABOUT.. They produced a limit of power that any other company can produce, but they made their cars as communicative and as perfect as no one else. THIS IS WHERE YOUR MERCEDES HAS TO BE QUITE. I do respect Mercedes Benz, they are one of my favourite manufacurers, but they just couldn't produce a proper hyper car. The SLR 722 is a magnificent car, but you can never compare it to any of these ones. THIRDLY AND THE MOST IMPORTANT, if the CCX was the first car for this NEW company, and it was able to be what it is now, AMGAINE WHAT CAR WILL IT BE IN only 10 YEARS FROM NOW.. THIS IS A GOOD POINT FOR KOENIGSEGG AND AN EXTREMELY BAD FOR YOU AND YOUR MERCEDES.

This board is phenomenal...thank nitrousOxide for explaining that Bugatti has had some premier cars around for years. I can't believe Mercedes Benz has even come up in any of these discussion. AMG's are great cars but in my mind Mercedes are just to soft to begin with. What i want to know is has anyone ever driven one(i have)? or is it all talk . Secondly the CCX is supposed to be an unplug sports car. Totally crazy and non functional (not your daily driver), just fun. Looks sweet and i take one any day (CCXR). This is a good move for Koenigsegg because it adds one more level of rarity to their cars. Oh, and there are many companies who only make sports cars...lets try TVR on for size.

How is biofuel eco friendly? You still are burning it and releasing the same bad stuff into the atmosphere. The only difference is that its renewable, meaning we can keep burning it without worrying about running out.

The thing is though(my favourite phrase in english), that there will be more powerful cars you just don't know but they still exist. Reading through it again, shit that car sucks for fuel economy. The buggatti engine runs in at about 8 liters, where as this "eco friendly car" has a 4.7 liter engine... resulting fuel economy... buggatti gets 12mpg combined, this gets 10.7

Yeah but if you can afford this car are you really going to worry about how much you have to spend on gas?

amg55, I think that your are quite a bumptious man and whatever someone explains you that you're wrong you won't admit it. Everybody agrees that Mercedes Benz is quite a excellent manufacturer but you haven't understood that Bugatti or Koenigsegg are just sport cars companies and they don't try to build the most powerfull car of the world, they just try to build the most drivable production car of the world, that is not Mercedes Benz's aim. Dear AMG55, your comments are still the silliest so far. I did not say that Mercedes are behind the world. I strongly agree with you that Mercedes can be considered as THE WORLDS BEST, in terms of tech. and inventions. But my dear, we are not talking about tech only here, we are talking about the best SPORTSCAR. With all MB tech, MERCEDES COULDNT MAKE A PROPER SUPERCAR, and its really a shame. Pagani Zonda F is one of the world's best hypercars today, and if you see its heart, its an AMG engine; they dont have the ability to produce an engine, but at the same time, the beat Mercedes using thier own engine. AND THEY EVEN USED A SMALLER ENGINE THAN ANY OF THE 3 MENTIONED CARS. 602 BHP, WHICH PROVES THAT YOUR "POWER" IS NOT NECCESSARY. Secondly, we are not CHEAP, mercedes is not a wife where we have to be tied close to it. Its a car with specific abilities, and once I find a better car, I will sell my mercedes at the closest exhibition.

I think the focus has been taken away from the fact that Koenigsegg has created a supercar that uses bio-fuel and produces 1018hp. No one else has done that. yet.

i'm just curious what could do a bugatti on ethanol, because everybody nows that ethanol give lot of more power. besides Koenigsegg is just a sport car which goes 400km/h and bugatti is proper gt car which u can drive with 400km/h in "comfort"
