'new' this is the least 'new' car since the VW Fox or the Rover Streetwise, they've hardly bothered to facelift it.

A Korean Manufactured Chevy. Not a BAD little car for the money. I think the "new" front end styling does make it look more agressive, which is not a bad thing either. I find it a bit amusing that a number of people knock the fact that GM has set up a new plant in Bupyong Korea, and improved the admittedly terrible quality of the Daewoo line, and they say things like. "Koreans have never made a decent car"...then, these same people will turn around and extoll the virtues of the Hyundai, either forgetting, or never knowing, that they are made in Korea as well. I guess for some people, as long as it's made by GM it's "Garbage" and if it has a Japanese badge, it's "Fantastic!" The truth is, every Manufacturer has their successes, and their failures. I remember well the Toyota Corollas of the 60's and early 70's and while the 1600 CC engines generally went about 50,000 miles before needing rings and valves, there was little use in doing the job, because often the bodies were literally falling off them by that time. The moral of this story is,...Don't be too quick to judge ANY manufacturer based on past performance, and keep an open mind when looking at the new crop of vehicles available for your money,...you MIGHT be surprised!
