I SINCERELY HOPE THAT THIS ARTISTIC CREATION WOULD NOT BE MERCILESSLY REDUCED TO A FUNCTIONALLY DRAB PRODUCTION MODEL BY THE USUAL CULPRITS . . . ENGINEERS AND BEAN COUNTERS. deja vu Porsche Boxster prototype ?

I have a reason to believe that cars of 2018 will look nothing like this. Go back to the concepts of the 1980s and the 1990s, even the late 1990s. The cars they envisioned as future cars look nothing like what we have now. Concepts are designed accordingly to what the trend of that period is, so really concept cars are only things of the time that they are made in. That is why it is impossible to predict exactly what a car in the future will look like. Different unpredictable trends lead to different unpredicable cars.

Thats true.I once had a magazine I think was Popular Science that was dated some time in the late sixties or early seventies with a picture of a "car of the year 2000" concept look.Funny now since the car was mostly glass around the vision area.Looks nothing like cars of the 2000 era.
