Mercedes should ramp production up on the DI 3.5 and just phase out the manifold injected 3.5. For $50K I expect the most modern technology!

It should though lelu. Its very much the same. One is "Commonrail Direct [Diesel] Injection", the other "Commonrail Gasoline Injection". But wouldnt that be CPI Commonrail Petrol Injection in Germany...?

something thats been bothering me for quite a while.. does anyone know why all Benzes (and all other foreign import cars) have ugly yellow side reflectors in the front or in the headlights when brought to the US, but not outside of the country? These cars look so much better without them.

US and EU have VERY different lighting requirements for light passenger vehicles, and always have. Manufacturers must meet these requirements to sell a vehicle in that Country.

When will the US realize that those reflectors aren't necessary and just hinder the appearance of a car, and that every other country isn't putting them on their cars because they just don't make any friggin difference.

I think it's got to do with the regulations here.
We don't all way gets the best cars here like the Europeans do.
