without a diesel scion has no chance in europe, toyota knows that... but the have the 2.2 diesel, which is a good engine and would fit in there just nice... if they're smart they should start selling that engine in the US ASAP....

I agree
They need a diesel engine but a 2.2 D4-D seems big to put in a car slightly longer than the Renault Clio
I wouldn't mind this but if there is no diesel engine then it is a turn off for me.

This car will of course feature the 1.4-litre D4-4, it does some 90 hp. Enough for a 3.90-meter car.
