its basically a sl with cls headlights and rear lights. wheel arches are stupidly too wide. this concept shows the difference between kleeman and brabus. body is not bad aerodynamically but have to see it in metal to make final decision. brabus rules.

You mean SLK no SL right? :) But more interesting is 7G Tronic gearbox load with 700Nm. As I know 700Nm i too much for that gearbox,...thats why SL55AMG has 5 speed gearbox and later 55AMG is replaced with 63AMg (630Nm). May be after some reworks Kleemann makes 7G Tronic more strong... Anyway Well Done! Very interesting concept at all, especially for the MB fans like me.... :)

To be quite honest I commend Kleeman for going this route. Its diffrent looking, it throws away all of the mercedes styleing and says "Lets make this wild" as for e36's comment, with todays tecnology packed into MB you need to use and existing light from MB to make it work (due to the electronics) and for the the wheel arches are wide due to THEM NEEDING it to fit the tires in so that you dont just burn up your tires when taking off.

the front of the car resembles some weird cross between lambo and porsche. (reventon and any porsche with round headlamps) but yah id say it looks nice, the styling is dramatic and different, more aggressive. i prefer this look, but of course that is a personal opinion

Nope, look at the RX-8, that was before the black series, and S class. Face it, MB copied, just like the damn trunk lid of the S class from BMW's 7 series!

Mercedes-Benz invented the automobile and of course the rotary engine is also a german invention which mazda copied.

Yes of course! And my question is :What is invented by the Italians...? The answer is pizza pasta but both are not conected with the automotive engineering. A lot of ENVIOUS people and empty words :)))))))))))))) :P

Ferrari guy, fyi, Mercedes did not copy the trunk lid on the 7 series because the Maybach (which was designed in the 90's, 2 S-class generations ago) already had it. The very 1st time I saw the Maybach prototype was in the 94-96 (?) Paris auto show. Other than that, the designers who did this car need to be sued for plagiarism. This is just a mix of the RX8, CLK DTM, Porsche (headlights). The only area they designed is the front nose which happens to look like crap.

Kleeman is actually a tuner that specializes in mercedes. The head and tailights are taken straight from the CLS, and the large wheel arches are found in many contemporary mercedes' (S, CL, ML, GL). Besides some small body panels and minor parts, I think this car is entirely original.

Yeah, most people are jealous that the germans invented the automobile, lol! Yeah...... sure!!! The question is what did "YOU," invent? Exactly, nothing!! Stop riding on germany's balls. Thanks for the clarification dave.

lol there goes silversedanman again, you know sedanman, the automobile is just something thats called a technological or scientific inevitability, which means someone will eventually discover/invent it just like electricity, hydroelectric power or nuclear fusion, just cause the germans invented it first does'nt mean it would've never gotten invented. this is what drives social/technological progress/revolution in the world. this is whats called three dimensional thinking (the big picture) somthing that you probably don't understand and can't grasp. just cause the americans invented the first airplane does'nt mean that their superior than say the japanese or germans, and yes the germans did invent the first jet aircraft but it was reverse engineered off a russian design so the germans copied someone else, and eventually that origional russian engine design led to the most advanced tactical fighter to date, the f-22 raptor which is american. does that mean that americans are superior to the russians or germans, no. no one is superior to anyone else, and its small minded beings like yourself that hinder the social/economic/and technological progress of the world. you see, you've got me rambling. and since this is a car site, its not the nicest car in the world cuz its a merc. its not really nice at all, and ferrariguy i'm with you, it does look like an rx-8 at some angles.

It's not quite true to say Mercedes invented the Automobile. Long before (1769) the French ''Fardier de Cugnot'' was the first vehicle to move on its own wheels with its own power. Mercedes made something that was more like today's car. But the mean to arrive to that was developed by many long before. We agree to say Mercedes invented the car, but to my opinion the automobile is not an invension like the bulb, but more a long term research...
