Performance character

The 2008 Cadillac CTS has gone into production but has yet to reach dealerships and already Cadillac has restyled a CTS for this week's SEMA show in Las Vegas.

The Cadillac CTS Sport Concept has received a brand new front fascia, new rear fascia, modified hood, rear spoiler and 20 inch wheels to highlight its performance character. Actual performance in regards to horsepower has not been touched and remains at the production-spec 304 hp from the 3.6 liter Direct Injection V6 engine. Interesting feature is the Corsa cat-back exhaust system with rectangular 3.5-inch outlet tips and wire mesh inserts.

A noble attempt by GM to market its upcoming luxury flagship in the ever-growing aftermarket segment and we assume that many of the parts on this concept will become available in due time, and hopefully with an engine tuning kit added in the mix.
