I don't know. When the R-32 came out it was banned from some of the Classes of racing it qualified for. After of course, dominating in said classes, especially in AU racing circuits. I don't know of any Porches being banned, because they were too good of a car to compete in the class they were made for.

From silversedanman's comments it looks like he's biased towards German cars. He's from Canada if he works for RIM - they're in Guelph Ontario. I'm honestly surprised to see such biased comments from a Canadian executive, even one who may enjoy German products, and perhaps culture too. What was it, silversedanman - the Honda plants in Mississauga that closed? Did someone in a Nissan run over your dog?
