For the first time in Formula 1 history, we can look forward to the first night time race which will be held in Singapore on 28th September after the FIA officially confirmed the event. Construction for the new street circuit in the Asian city began in August

It remains to be seen how driving in night time is going to affect the drivers, however it is unlikely to bother current world champion Kimi too much as the Finnish ice man has had to deal with about 3 hours daylight during the winter in his native Finland.

I for one am particularly looking forward to seeing the modified F1 race cars sporting some new cool neon head lights - or is that just my imagination going astray?

I think that it would be more feasible if the entire track was lit. Since its a city track most of the lighting is already there. Most F1 teams would be upset if they had to mess with their precious aerodynamics to fit headlights to their cars

The track lit up? Do you think so? Maybe that is why they are only doing this now and on a custom built city circuit rather than the Nordschleif.

singapore is multi cultured. it is very very clean, hardly anyone breaks the law and pollution is extremely low for such a densely populated area, by far the least polluted city in south east asia because of extremely high car tax, parking prices and and the difficulty to own a vehicle.

I say this is homage to the most successful nation in south east asia. also, a majority of ticket purchasing to motogp and formula 1 events in sepang mostly come from singaporeans. the malaysia government are giving away free tickets to government servants and VIP's yet still could not get it full. i'm pretty sure singapore formula 1 would be a major success. even the up and coming casinos are going to have the highest value worldwide. i've been there and am impressed.

Its a discusting country that leeches the worlds resources and has no compassion for the environment. Sort of like a Jew mixed with a chinaman

I've personally been to Singapore... one of the cleanest, saftest places I've ever been to. People are disciplined and follow the law.

The department of tourism from Singapore gave a talk about their upcoming attractions. The night race will surely be a sight to see! The place will be lit up and they have a contract for 5 years to host annual night races.

I am excited!

silversedanman must be attacking races to make up for his pathetic dick size. That's the only reason I can think of for being such a piece of shit.
