Subaru will be unleashing three slated-for-launch vehicles at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show. Included at the show will be the Subaru Impreza Beams Edition, the Legacy Outback Urban, and the Stella REVESTA.
Beams is a Japanese clothing store and designer label that Subaru identifies as being "known for offering excitement, joy, and the fun of being discerning in the field of fashion." With that, they have created an Impreza in orange (Beams' signature color), with black leather seats also stitched in orange. Subaru wants the Beams edition to make you happy and put "a smile on your face." While it hasn't quite made me forget about my mortgage payments it does surprisingly look pretty good in that color shade.
Subaru's Legacy Outback Urban has a Lightning Red exterior, silver grille, wheels, side mirrors and roof rails, and seats and trim that utilize leather and Alcantara. The interior is black; Subaru's attempt to add a bit of sophistication to this wagon. This Legacy Outback trim is meant to have "[the] realization of a new way of looking at the grand touring world," according to the release.
Then there is the Subaru Stella REVESTA, a commercial version of the popular customized car at last spring's Tokyo Auto Salon. Subaru says this car has "a unique presence," but uniquity is not always a good thing. Looking a bit like a stunted, impudent, buffed-out Scion xB, this vehicle has a metallic front grille, front and rear bumpers, and aluminum wheels. Leather seats and a bronze-colored instrument panel make up the interior. This 3.4 meter boxcar is partnered with a creepy sounding "Music CD Server & Welcome Sound Audio" that plays preset music and voices upon entering the vehicle.
All three of these cars will be on display at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show. They are due to be released in the Japanese markets.

Other Exhibited Vehicles:
IMPREZA BEAMS EDITION (Slated for Launch)
Beams is known for offering excitement, joy, and the fun of being
discerning in the field of fashion. The essence of these has been
taken to discover the new potential of Subaru’s automobile
manufacturing with this model. Especially for this Motor Show, the
Beams signature color orange was used on the body and an
orange stitch was used to spice up the black leather seats. We
aimed to create a car that puts a smile on your face, whether
looking at it from the outside or riding it on the inside.
Legacy Outback Urban selection (Slated for Launch)
With the concept of “achieving a new grand touring worldview,”
we equipped this with special specs to further evolve the Legacy
Outback’s sports utility wagon category. For the exterior body color,
we utilized a bright Lightning Red developed based on the Premium
Red that was popular on the Legacy Blitzen. As an accent, the silver
color of the front grille and hubcaps were used on the door mirrors
and roof rails for a sophisticated presence. Real leather and
Alcantara?R have been combined for the black seat and trim to
complete a high-quality and comfortable interior space.
Stella REVESTA (Slated for Launch)
This is the commercial model of the STELLA Revesta customized
car that was popular at the Tokyo Auto Salon last spring. Special
parts were used for the exterior, such as on the metallic front grille
as well as front and rear bumpers and aluminum-wheels. These
render strong assertion and a unique presence. A nicely textured
seat leather and bronze colored instrument panel were used for the
interior and the newly developed “Music CD Server and Welcome
Sound Audio?” was mounted to enhance the fun of riding a car.?
?Music CD Server & Welcome Sound Audio: This function welcomes the
driver by playing songs set beforehand, music, or a voice from time of
boarding until the engine is started.
