This is Audi tuning specialist Hofele Design's reworking of the new Audi Q7. Recently released onto the market, the Hofele tuning kit features a number of subtle sporting tweaks producing a stylish end product and, with after-market expenditure starting from only 4,900 Euros inclusive of mounting, is a bargain.

Special attention has been paid to the Q7's bumpers, with the front bumpers being surrounded by gaping air intakes, the transplanted larger grille off the Audi A8, producing a more rounded front-end, and new hella lights, providing LED day driving and fog lights as well as cornering-aiding light.

Stainless steel twin tailpipes and an apron-mounted rear spoiler pronounce the Q7's sporting intentions, while a further air intake adorns the side of the car. Wheel arch enhancements cover the mighty "Reverso 22" designer wheels in the size 10Jx22 with 295/320 R 22 Pirelli tires, adding a further 4,750 Euros to the total cost of the kit. The Q7 has also been lowered by 40 mm to give the SUV a more sporting stance.

The 3.0-litre TDI model can be tuned by Hofele to up the diesel powerplant's power and torque from 233 hp and 500 Nm to in excess of 280 hp and 580 Nm. This is priced at 1,150 Euros, while further modifications inside the car are also on the options list. The 'exclusive interior concept' introduces carbon, exotic woods and leather elements on the instrument panel, steering wheel and door trims.

But wait, there's more. The tuning kit applied to the standard Q7 4.2 TDI increases power by 76 hp to 402 hp, with torque up from 630 Nm to 780 Nm, while top speed is increased to... 245 kph (152 mph). This is one heck of an SUV.

For more information, head over to Hofele, where the modifications are now available for ordering.

You meant 4.2 TFSI and not 4.2 TDI, I think.
