I agree with you, but rationally the best car for this price is the VW Passat...

Very curious comparison, C-class vs. Passat! Perhaps that was actually a contrast. Anybody still buys station wagons, "estates", anymore, what with crossovers and SUVs and SUTs of every size. It's well designed though, and there will be an AMG model I presume.

I guess the estate looks OK for being based on the new C-class sedan.. but using the Sport/Avantgarde grille on the estate is sacrilege!
