World debut at Frankfurt
Wiesmann will be showing their new GT MF 5 for the first time in Frankfurt, but not at the 62nd IAA. Wiesmann will be opening their first own dealership on the Frankfurt car mile which will function as the venue for the debut of the new 507 hp GT MF 5 on September 10th, the night before the Frankfurt Motor Show opens its doors to the press.
The new GT is powered by BMW's V10, also found in the BMW M5 and M6. Production of the new GT will not commence just yet, because testing of the car has not been finalised yet. AutoTelegraaf.nl claims that the RWD system is not yet fully finished and expects the first units to arrive at the brand new dealership mid 2008.
