I think That mercedes is helping daimler chrysler develop the next gen viper.

It's not a Viper, like it's not a R230.
They're using Viper's body to test on it.

...there is still going to be cooperation between Daimler & Chrysler...this is probably platform consolidation...makes sense when you consider the benefits to the cost equation...the Viper chasis as the starting point for the SLR replacement/next gen Viper/Maybach coupe...sounds familiar ...?...GM did it with the Corvette/XLR...

this car has an american front and european rear. it looks the same of the viper in front and like mercedes slr in the rear. what is it anyway????

That is a VIPER... lol zoom in on the rear end pics below the tail light towards the center Viper is there both sides a little fuzzy but no dought

mules come in all shapes and sizes... there's no telling just yet what it will be. Although I'm pretty sure it won't be a maybach.
