Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen Preview at ASWOA National Convention

Scheduled for spring 2008 release

Volkswagen of America, Inc. gave visitors to the American Station Wagon Owners Association's (ASWOA) national convention a preview of the upcoming Jetta SportWagen, scheduled for a March 2008 debut. The 2008 Jetta Sportwagen was first seen at NYIAS back in April. Alongside the forthcoming Salsa Red Jetta SportWagen, Volkswagen had lined up a display of previous generation station wagons; a 1973 Type III Squareback, 1980 Dasher, 1987 Quantum Syncro and a 1988 Fox. Visitors were given the opportunity to test drive the 2.0-litre TFSI and 3.6-litre V6 Passat versions. Press release and pictures after the jump.
