In July 2006, Lumma Design unveiled its aggressive CLR 600 wide body kit, a draconian interpretation of a race-worthy BMW M6. One year on, Lumma Design has today unveiled the CLR 600 S - "S" as in "Street" - a somewhat smaller, yet brawny version of the CLR 600 body kit.
The body kit consists of a front bumper with striking air intake ducts, brawny side sills with integrated air intake ducts, a rear apron with diffuser and a rear-spoiler to reduce lift. Lumma also offers a sport exhaust system with imposing 80 mm quad pipes (3.15 inches) and a selection of high-polished 20- and 21-inch Racing wheels. The CLR 600 S body kit will fit all 6-series models, both coupé and convertible versions, from the 630i to the M6.
Great attention has been paid to cosmetic modifications, such as carbon fiber parts on the engine and a red laminated valve cover, as well as sporty interior modifications.

After LUMMA DESIGNed spectacular widening modifications for the BMW M6 tuned as CLR 600 bonding it to racing sports and creating a furore, now the German tuner comes up with a somewhat smaller, but not less imposing version of the body kit.
This available stylish design intended for all BMW 6-series including M6 and convertibles answers to the name of CLR 600 S. That S stands for street and that's where all shall be staring from in astonishment as LUMMA DESIGN together with additional modifications succeeds in significantly enhancing the attractiveness of each 6-series BMW.
Brawny appearance
The CLR 600 S body kit consisting in front of sleek designed front spoiler bumper along with striking air intake ducts in sporty designed form, already expresses pure power. A muscular package in the form of side sills with integrated air intake ducts behind, give the BMW 6-series a sturdier appearance. Same effect is provided in back by LUMMA's rear apron bumper with diffuser. To reduce lift, LUMMA builds an additional rear spoiler tear-off edge. Optionally instead is the availability of an imposing rear wing.
LUMMA installs and finishes each piece as requested in it's own in-house body shop. Each glances with the same quick and simple installation features as the original parts. Likewise with top quality. Whoever prefers parts and accessories to be shipped, receives ready complete pre-assembled parts. Naturally all arrive with TÜV parts certification. The CLR 600 S kit fits all BMW 6-series models no matter if it's 630i, 645i, 650i, M6 or their convertible versions.
More power and attractiveness for the motor
Some pep in the motor area can also work wonders, thought LUMMA and take a look... after the German specialists built a special attractive motor package, the BMW 6-series motor radiates an unfamiliar brilliance. A package including two air intake plenums as well as an air filter housing each made of carbon fibre make this possible. In addition, as recognised in Italian sports cars, a red coloured valve cover.
The high-polished motor area matches perfectly to a LUMMA power enhancement. After the tuners already helped to bring the M-Version to a solid HP increase, LUMMA prepares a motor tuning program for models 630i - 650i. With help of a LUMMA sport exhaust system with four imposing 80mm rear tail pipes it publicizes it's enhanced power.
The reduction of centre of gravity provides greater driving agility. This achieves LUMMA through mounting of a H & R performance springs set that lowers the CLR 600 S by 30 mm.
Wheels in 20 and 21-inch
LUMMA allows the CLR 600 S to tread on big feet. The LUMMA special "Racing" wheels are offered by these tuners in 20 and 21-inch. The elegant three-pieced wheels in timeless sporty multispoke design are manufactured from of a combination of aluminium and stainless steel. They are high gloss polished and have a wheel spider in silver, black or chrome. For the 20-inch version, LUMMA uses a combination of 9x20" tires with 245/35-20 (front) und 10x20" with 275/30-20. The larger alternative for more grip favours the front axle 9,5x21" with tires 255/30-21 and for the rear axle 10,5x21" with 295/25-21. The complete LUMMA wheel sets are equipped with high performance tires from LUMMA's technology partner Toyo.
Sportier Interior
Even the interior is not left untouched by LUMMA. Ultimately, it should fulfil the ambient expectations. LUMMAs interior not only fulfils expectations, but they in fact surpass them! Tinted gauges and an optionally extended speedometer to 360km/h are just the beginning. LUMMA offers for example a impressive, ergonomically formed sports steering wheel in wood/leather or carbon/leather combination. Aluminium foot pedals and as well aluminium foot rest provide further sporty nuances. Footmats sporting stitched logo makes the cockpit for all sportiness even more comfortable.
All built-in parts and accessories are without question TÜV certified.
