The brochure of Porsche's upcoming GT2 variant has been leaked on the internet and thanks to Autoblog.com we can reveal the story to you. The GT2 will be powered by the same 3.6-liter Boxer flat six seen in the standard 911, but in contrast to the 911 range's currently most powerful car, the four-wheel-drive Turbo, the GT2 will be rear-wheel-driven. The engine will produce 530 bhp at 6,500 rpm and offer 505 lbs/ft (685 NM) of torque at the 2,200 - 4,500 rpm range. The GT2 will be equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The GT2 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and from 0-100mph in 7.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 204mph. The GT2's weight of 1443 kg (3175 lbs), compared to the 911 Turbo 1585 kg (3495 lbs) makes the GT2 a true track toy.
