What is the next hot convertible sports coupe? I'll give you one hint… it's Italian. Maserati is set to thrill top down driving enthusiasts with its new Maserati Granturismo Spyder. Pictured above is a very nice illustration that gives one an idea of how the next Italian convertible could look when it is released. Expect all that is great with the new Granturismo like its highly fashionable interior, graceful 4.2 liter V-8 engine and top down goodness for all 4 occupants within the new Granturismo Convertible. Naught to 60 should come in comparison to the Granturismo Coupe with a time near 5.1 seconds, as shall the top speed of the vehicle. There is no word yet on what type of drop top system will be used with the new Granturismo Convertible but expect it to be as sophisticated as the rest of the vehicle.
