Tired of your oh so boring 367-bhp C 55 AMG? Here's a glimmer of hope: Mercedes' new-generation C?class will be available in C 63 AMG guise with the firm's sophisticated 6.3-litre V8, capable of pumping a massive 520 bhp but likely to be tamed to around 400 to 420 bhp for the compact saloon. That's still in line with BMW's new M3 and a plus in power of around 10 per cent over today's model. We expect the new C 63 AMG to break out in Frankfurt later this year.
