Production delayed
Once again we caught the upcoming Lincoln LS replacement: the MKS. "But we've seen this," you're saying - Well, not exactly: The MKS Concept from the 2006 NAIAS show has been revamped - delaying the production from July of this year until February of 2008, making the production MKS debut as a 2009 model. And this time we've even caught a glimpse of the gauges and instruments! Although the MKS is based on a FWD platform, there is speculation that AWD will be offered - and may even be a standard feature! Power is expected to come from a twin-turbo V6 - but sources are unclear whether it will be a 3.5-liter, or a 3.7-liter engine. With a bit of Mark Fields' influence, the updated-even-before-production MKS is expected to shine as Lincoln's new flagship.
