Roewe 450 Spied Again
The Roewe 450, internally known as the W2, would most likely be identified as a Rover 45 by Europeans. Whatever it may be called, its really taking shape and in our humble opinion isn't bad looking. According to Roewe, the W2 is built on a brand new platform designed at SAIC's UK R&D center, so no Rover genes, but envisioned and created by the same team.
The W2 concept was premiered at the Shanghai Motor Show last April and was greeted with great enthusiasm. The boys over at ChinaCarTimes reckon that the Roewe 450 will be in Chinese showrooms by the end of this year with three engine choices, a 1.6l, 1.8l or a 1.8l turbo.
