SPY PHOTOS: Skoda Octavia Facelift

Debut at Frankfurt

The Skoda Octavia, Skoda's best known middle segment model, is on the verge of receiving a mild restyling. The current Octavia has been on the market since March 2004, and we expect that at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show the facelifted version will be released. The photos - taken during brake tests on a mountain in Austria - are showing a prototype model with a new front end consisting of a new bumper and remodeled air intakes. The Octavia is sitting on the VW-Golf's platform, has a transversely mounted engine and front wheel drive.
