Opel/Vauxhall Vectra/Saturn Aura at Nurburgring
The upcoming fourth generation Opel Vectra has been quite a popular car in the lenses of spy photographers lately. These latest photos are the third installment we have shown this month and it seems from the traffic we are receiving, there is no shortage of curiosity. Since our last Vectra spy story, not much new info has surfaced. However, a Vectra prototype has just arrived at Nurburgring for high speed testing.
Here are the latest shots of the new model, plus two photos from which the disguise on the car has been removed by computer to show the new Vectra in full showroom trim.
The new Vectra will grow in width and height as it sits on GM's new Epsilon 2 platform. For the first time, the Vectra will receive an optional all-wheel-drive system in addition to a wider range of engines, which includes a new 200hp 2.7 liter V6 diesel and a newly developed 2.8 liter petrol V8.
The Vectra is expected to debut at Frankfurt in September and the Saturn Aura version arriving in the U.S. a year later.
