It looks like BMW has begun a bit of a striptease with their new 1-Series coupe, removing its front-end disguise for the first time. This new view reveals a front fascia that is very similar to the new M3, with a deep, rounded central intake flanked by distinctly flared outer edges. The aggressive face adds some welcome attitude to the 1-Series coupe's stubby profile. This first look at the 1's true front-end helps to complete the story, after a well-finished example was shot during a commercial photo shoot a few weeks ago. That incident yielded a very clean look at the 1-series coupe's rear-end and C-
pillar, but revealed nothing in front of the A-pillar.
The 1-series should finally reach the U.S. in the form of this coupe, along with a soft-top convertible. Sources hint that these car's should reach showrooms by next spring or early next summ
