Follow Up: Proton Satria Neo

Yesterday we reported about the Lotus inspired / designed Proton Satria Neo launching in the UK, and today we have this to report. The AMRS (Australian Motor Racing Series), which started in 2005, has signed a deal with Maleysian based Proton that their Satria Neo will be this years Safety Car for all nine rounds around Australia. The photos are from its debut at Wakefield Park.
John Startari, MD Proton Cars Australia: "The Satria Neo has impressive safety credentials and what better way to demonstrate its prowess than on the track as the Safety Car."
Ofcourse, Lotus' input into the car doesn't hurt either...
