Honda F1's New Livery
This just in! Honda is to drop all sponsorships, ads etc from its 2007 F1 cars! Instead, the cars will feature an image of the earth, and all this to raise awareness of the environmetal issues that we are all facing in this day and age.
For those interested in having their name on the car (www.myearthdream.com), the earth image will be made up of all the names that register for this initiative, each name being a pixel of the image. You can also just make a donation to an environmental charity.
Nick Fry has the following to say: "So we at Honda F1 are proud to dedicate our car to the environmental challenge. We believe that practical solutions can stem directly from engineers working on our F1 program."
