All new successor for 2008
The current Skoda Superb has been on the market since 2001. Now the Volkswagen-owned Skoda car maker has developed an all new successor for launch in 2008, and a set of prototype shots from inside the factory have already turned up on the internet just recently.
Another prototype mule of the new Superb got caught, this time testing in the snow in Northern Scandinavia. An accurate computer image is added to these mule photos showing the new styling of the car in all details.
The next generation Superb will grow considerably in overall length, although the prototype is still using the old - but elongated - body.
Nothing is known yet about the engines, but most likely it will again use four- and six cylinder gasoline- and four- and sixcylinder turbodiesel engines.
