Based on the five-door hatchback, French car-maker Renault is apparently planning to release a small estate variant of the Clio, and this car might be regarded as the direct answer to PSA’s plans to introduce another SW-variant of their still-new Peugeot 207.
Like other makes, Renault hopes to gain new customers in emerging markets like South America or East Europe. Nevertheless, the car will be on offer in Old Europe, too, and we expect it to make use of the regular five-door’s engines, including 65-, 75-, 88-, 98- and 112-bhp four-cylinder petrol units plus the famous dCi diesels delivering 68, 86 or 106 bhp.
