Although DaimlerChrysler’s SL model underwent a minor facelift just last year, here are the first photos showing that the car is going to get another one, apparently this time a big restyling.
The pictured prototype is the AMG version of the SL and was caught during cold weather testing on an icy road near the Arctic Circle. The next SL can be expected to come on the market by the end of 2008 / early 2009 and it will have an all new front end including grille, air intakes and headlights as well as a new rear end and new taillights.
The SL’s interior design and engines are likely getting a major upgrade too.
