Everybody knows Škoda’s Roomster is one of the most versatile vehicles on the market with its adaptable interior and clever storage solutions, but now Europe’s top car safety boffins have proven that it’s also up there with the safest.
Euro NCAP – a body that provides consumers with independent information about car safety – awarded the Roomster full marks (five stars out of five) for the protection it offers to adult passengers. This is the first time a Škoda has received the top score. It also achieved four out of five for child occupant safety and two (out of a possible four) in the pedestrian protection category.
This great news is sure to make the Roomster even more desirable to buyers from every walk of life. The range costs from £9,920 for the entry-level 1.2 12V Roomster 1 and rises to £14,050 for the top of the range 1.9 TDI PD Roomster 3.
Telly addicts amongst you will also have noticed that the Roomster has been making a splash on the small screen with its recently launched advertising campaign. Featuring a humorous soundtrack and catchy ‘Manufacturer of happy drivers’ tagline, it’s sure to become a favourite.
