With the first generation Smart ForTwo Cabriolet being off production, the Brabus Black Star 101 has come to an end as well.
But there’s hope: Our pictures prove that the German tuning company Brabus is again developing an extra-hot variant of the tiny two-seater convertible, likely with a new name. Powered by an engine delivering close to 110 bhp and equipped with exclusive Brabus interior, the new cabrio will be on offer from spring 2007 onwards, and we expect a price of around 36,000 Euros.
Acceleration to 100 km/h will be in a friction over 10 seconds and the top-speed will be limited to 160 km/h. Like the former Black Star 101, the new model might be limited to a very low number of cars built.
