Police departments from all over the country come to the GM Proving Grounds in Mesa, Arizona to test latest technologies in police vehicles. Years ago, manufacturers created police cars by bolting necessary components to retail vehicles. Now, vehicles like the Tahoe and Impala are specifically designed to serve as police vehicles.
