Jaguar is preparing a facelift for the company's luxury model XJ. These photos are showing a prototype on a test drive near the Jaguar factory. It is featuring a new front- and rear end and a lightly remodeled interior.
With this facelift, Jaguar hopes to get sales of its flagship back up again. Due to the current model's old fashioned styling it is not really a best seller at this time.
On the photos one can guess already the styling of the new front grille which is said to adapt the design of the upcoming new Jaguar S-Type. The prototype also shows that the next XJ gets air intakes on the sides like the Range Rover or the Portfolio XJ.
The XJ restyling is scheduled for release at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007.
