Since Fiat had announced to build just four running prototypes of the new Fiat Bravo and carry out the rest of the testing on computers, it was quite a task to find and shoot this prototype of the new Golf-competitor. But nonetheless our spy in Italy caught it. So here's now the best "real world" images yet of the new model despite official teaser images released back in October (see related links).
Though the introduction of the car will mark the revival of the Bravo or Brava name which had been dropped for European products some years ago, the new hatchback will be the only body variant Fiat is planning to offer. The car is going to replace today's Stilo and we therefore expect a variety of petrol and diesel engines with outputs ranging from around 95 to more than 170 bhp. The Bravo will be officially introduced in spring 2007.
