SPY PHOTOS: New MINI Cooper Convertible
First time on the road
First time on the road
Here are first photos of the second-generation MINI Convertible, caught testing on the streets of Munich. Just like the hard top model, the topless MINI is similar in design to the current model. The larger dimensions of the second generation MINI enhance the concealment of the folding canvas top in the down position as well as providing slightly more room for the rear passengers.
BMW revealed the new 2007 Mini Cooper in August this year. The new MINI Convertible will arrive in 2008 as a 2009 model. BMW might preview the new convertible at the Detroit Motor Show this January.
