Press Release
Infiniti, the global luxury brand of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced the release of the all-new Infiniti G35 sedan at the Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention Center (SETEC) located in Hagnyeoul, Seoul. Korea is the first market to receive the redesigned luxury sedan.
The all-new Infiniti G35 sedan for the Korean market will be powered by the newly upgraded fourth generation V6 VQ35HR engine generating 315-horsepower and 36.5 kg/m torque. The V6 engine is the only engine in the world to have made Ward’s 10-best engines list for the past 12 consecutive years. The vehicle is available with a five-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching, giving a smooth yet dynamic driving experience with optimal shift timing. It also features a driver-oriented, rear-wheel drive platform.
The Infiniti G35 sedan is available in a “premium” and “sports” version. The “premium” model features an aluminum trim inspired by hanji, a traditional Oriental paper and is available at 47.5 million won (including VAT). The “sports” model offers a more dynamic driving experience and is available at 49.8 million won (including VAT).
Nissan Korea President Gregory B. Phillips said: “We are very excited that Korea is the first market in the world to receive the new Infiniti G35 sedan, which well-incorporates Infiniti’s identity. The all-new Infiniti G35 sedan will give Korea consumers the highest level of satisfaction possible with its strong performance and reasonable price, as well as outstanding design in its segment.”
Mark Igo, vice-president and general manager of the Infiniti Division for Nissan North America who visited Korea to celebrate the first-ever launch of the new Infiniti G35 Sedan, said: “Infiniti is becoming a globally recognized luxury brand. The new G35, which is gaining much attention around the world, is Infiniti’s latest creation. By launching the new G35 here in Korea, Infiniti is progressing more quickly towards its goal.”
