Alongside the new generation Mondeo caught recently, Ford’s engineers had another secret newcomer on the road. The pictures are showing an advanced prototype of the C-Max Cross Country version with higher ground clearance and four wheel drive.
The first C-Max Cross Country mule photographed back in March of this year during cold weather testing in Scandinavia, had the body of the current C-Max. However, the pictured prototype apparently hides the upcoming facelift for the model range under the tape disguise.
The new off-roader is expected to come on the market as a competitor, amongst others, against Volkswagen’s upcoming 4x4 Tiguan model.
