Metal roof - up and down
In October this year, BMW will debut the convertible version of the recently launched 3 series coupe.
It will be powered by the same engines as the coupe and equipped with a retractable steel roof which folds completely into the boot. The current convertible will continue to be built until the end of this year with an expected total of 270,000 units of this model will have been built and sold. The new 3-series convertible will hit the showrooms in March 2007.
